Is Your Athlete Struggling With Confidence, Focus, or Pressure - and You're Not sure How to Help?thle

This isn't therapy. It's Mental Performance Training for Competitive Youth Athletes Who Want to Perform at Their Best.

Discover on the video below how to help your child overcome fear of failure, stop overthinking, and start playing with the confidence they’ve trained for — even under pressure.

Here is what most parents don't realize:

Your kid isn’t struggling because of lack of skill.

They’re struggling because no one ever taught them how to:

Bounce back after mistakes

Play without fear of criticism

Handle pressure from coaches, teammates, and themselves

Reset mentally when everything starts to spiral

What strategies will the athlete learn in the program:

  • How to set up realistic performance goals (goal setting).

  • Positive thinking (self-talk, affirmation, thought stopping).

  • Imagery/visualization.

  • Breathing exercises.

  • Meditation.

  • Deal with interruptions and distractions (attentional control).

What are the benefits that will the athlete have after the program:

  • Knowledge about how the mind works and how to potentialize it.

  • Strategies for dealing with main issues for high performance athletes.

  • Higher self-esteem and confidence.

  • Better control of his emotions and how to use it in the game.

This program is built for athletes between 11 and 18 years old who are playing at a competitive level — not recreational.

(If you’re older, message me directly — we’ll build a custom plan.)

I work with athletes who are talented but stuck

because of one or more of these mental blocks:

  • They doubt themselves, even when they have the skill.

  • They can’t focus in key moments or get easily distracted.

  • They get emotional, shut down, or disappear under pressure.

  • They make one mistake and carry it for the rest of the game.

  • They’re afraid of failing, so they play small to avoid criticism.

  • They lack discipline, lose motivation, and don’t give full effort.

  • They’re not stepping up as leaders, even though they want to.

If your athlete feels like something’s holding them back — and you can’t coach it, push it, or motivate it out of them…

  • That’s where I come in.

No pressure. No sales pitch. Just clarity.

The role of mental coach

Sports demand everything — physically and mentally. Athletes are expected to perform, improve, win — and repeat. All under pressure, criticism, and fear of failure.

But here’s the truth:

It’s not lack of skill that breaks them. It’s what happens in their head after a mistake.

Coaches build plays.

I build players.

As a Mental Performance Coach, I help athletes:

Break fear and perfectionism, build real confidence, bounce back fast after mistakes, handle pressure like leaders, stay focused and mentally tough.

Because at the highest level,

The mental game IS the game.

If you’re not training it, you’re leaving half their potential behind.

What Parents say about the Program

THOMAS

Our 13 year old son really enjoyed the mental health sessions with coach Mauricio. Not only it gave him confidence going in to the games but also it helped him on his behavior in and out of school. Coach Mauricio is to our son not only a coach and a mentor but also a big brother/father figure that he respects and look up to. We are very happy with the outcome of the mental sessions and highly recommend them to anyone who is seeking enlightenment, guidance, direction, purpose— which we believe was what our son needed the most and he was looking forward to the sessions every week, so it was fun for him. Highly recommended 👍

ISAAC

I play soccer and i’m from Sacramento, California. three months ago, the reason why i came to this program is because i faced a really big challenge and i didn’t know how to take it. And it was challenging for my mentality and i just needed something to bounce back. this program helped me a lot to achieve things that i didn’t know my mind can do. i really like the program. it’s really well organized. the environment and the kids are really good people and other than that, i just really like program. the biggest transformation was that i’m not weak in my mindset anymore. i’m kind of, i guess, advanced. I’m not as scared. i’m not as worried. before, i was a little, i guess, a little worried kid. i didn’t know if i was going to make it to the next level or not. i didn’t really have much confidence in myself. i had doubts. i didn’t have no motivational i didn’t think i was going to do good.

Hey Mauricio, i’m sending you this to let you know how happy we are with your fantastic program! I wasn't very sure what a Mental Health Coach would do to enhance our son's athletic abilities. Now that he's been in the program working with you, he's really gotten a great perspective on his abilities, win or lose and not just win or lose, but how to deal with the stress of being a student athlete. Balancing academics, sports and social activities. He really enjoys meeting with you,not just as a Mental Health Coach but also as a friend who cares about how he is doing! This program brings a much-needed balance to the student athlete! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Services

Individual Sessions

The focus will be to improve sport related topics from the mental side such as anxiety, goal setting, mental issues when approaching critical moments in the game, confidence, self-esteem and much more.

Group Sessions

Topics for group sessions will be decided both by the needs of the clients and topics already picked by the mental coach. The focus will be the same as in the individual sessions, but in a group setting.

Workshops

Workshops are events held in different locations depending on the agreement from both parties. In the workshops there will be pre established content such as motivation, confidence, concentration, how coaches should approach their players, how parents can help their kids, goal setting and many others.

Private soccer sessions

Most soccer players have dreams and goals to play professionally or to play at the college level, however, the fact is few people can achieve this goal. In order to get there, people will have to put in several years of effort. To have a professional that can help you to get to that next level is very important. A soccer coach can help you improve your technical, tactical, and physical skills in the game. Contact us to book an evaluation session.
